It’s been a long time coming, but here it is, it’s happening now. I am getting converted to (and by) the Cult of Canon. The thing is, I have always been a Canon girl. And then something happened, I think it was a temporary  blow to my brain. But hey, they say :”better late than never”, right? Right. I am sad to see my Nikon go, mostly because it was my first SLR and it took a lot of time and sacrifice to get it. On the other hand, I am getting really excited about the new gear, as it will come with some serious glass
We’re going to get 3 lenses to go with our bodies. Btw. this is what prompted us to get me to switch. It only makes sense to have the same brand camera, so that we can share the lenses.Â
We have also eBayed my Eva, which was a hard thing to do, since she’s been with me for quite some time. Eva was my first MBP and also my first Apple laptop, so I had a lot of affection for her. She showed me a world that goes beyond Windows, a world where pop-up windows and virus programs are a thing of the past. It was love from the first click. I never looked back, I only looked forward. And now, I am looking forward thanks to Myriam  (a newer version of MBP gifted to me by my lovely Geek), as she took place of Eva. So, this is a farewell to Eva. May the new owner be good to you.Â
Seriously, though, to ease somebody’s feelings of uncertainty about the switch, I am really looking forward to using the new glass

[...] It looks like that reference to Nikon may be the least for a little while, because Angelika has just converted. [...]
